Part 1- watch  the trailer of Boy;

Summarize the expectations you had of the film after only seeing the trailer (2 sentences). 
 
Part 2 – you are to watch the film, BOY by Taika Waititi ( to save you time you can just read the Rogeralber.com movie review pdf that gives a movie summary instead and answer the following :
After watching the movie “BOY”  give one example describing how your expectations were met.  And give one example describing how this movie challenged your expectations. (target 3 sentences)
 
Part 3- Review the Three Principles of Film Form( scrow bellow if you not familiar with “ Three Principles of Film Form” .  Give a clear, specific example from Taika Waititi’s film to illustrate each of the three principles.  You can use one or more moments from the film as long as you clearly distinguish how the moment illustrates the specific principle of film form.  (150- 160 words)

 Movies depend on light to create an image on screen,  Movies provide an illusion of movement by rapidly displaying still frames,  Movies can manipulate space and time through cinematic techniques. 
Explanation:
1-    Light dependency:Since the camera captures light to create an image, lighting is crucial for every shot, influencing the visual appearance and mood of a scene.                                   
2-     Illusion of movement:The rapid projection of individual still images (frames) tricks the human eye into perceiving continuous motion. 
3-    Space and time manipulation:Filmmakers can use camera angles, editing techniques, and other cinematic tools to alter how viewers perceive space and time within a scene
