The class will be divided into groups, and each group will be assigned a subsection of the article to present in the style of an oral abstract at a professional conference. Aim for ~12-15 minutes, but if your assigned figure is very complex, you can go up to 20 minutes in length. (Since it’s a group work each member of the group should aim for a 5min presentation).
Phrase content in your own words. Add non complex speaker notes to slides so anyone can understand. Each member of the group should be able to answer questions about all parts of the presentation. Submit your PPT slides on-line and note which group members contributed to each part.
Please note. VERY IMPORTANT: the subsection of the paper you should focus on is
(AAVMYO supersedes AAV9 for systemic sgRNA delivery).
Talk about the following
* Title slide: Publication citation in APA or CSE style, your names, date
* Outline slide: major topics are identified in bullet-point format
* Background and introduction slide(s): Start with an impact statement, why the work is important/why the problem is important to study. Briefly give the context for the work. State what is known and what is not known. Be sure to cite your sources when giving the background/introduction.
